Faculty Resource Center
The Faculty Resource Center (FRC) connects faculty members with resources to enhance teaching, research, classroom assessment, advising, technology use, grant-seeking, and department chair work. The Center for Attention, Learning, and Memory (CALM) works closely with the center to provide services to faculty.
The FRC's advisory board is a Faculty Senate committee--the Faculty Excellence Committee.
ALL faculty and staff members are welcome to attend events through the FRC. If you are an adjunct faculty member and find that our event times are inconvenient, please let us know so that we can make adjustments. If you teaching online, you can still participate too--all of our workshops include a Zoom link so that remote faculty members can join in real-time.
Numerous workshops and discussion groups are offered throughout the year. To find out more, or to access recordings of previous workshops, please visit https://www.sbu.edu/frc. If you want to make an appointment, please contact Ann Tenglund, Director of the Library & Faculty Development, at ateng@sbu.edu.
