    _______________

The Faculty Status & Welfare Handbook provides information relative to all full-time faculty members. The handbook is considered part of the full-time faculty contract. It explains the rights and duties of full-time faculty members.

Other handbooks are not part of a contract, such as the Adjunct Faculty Handbook or the School of Graduate Studies Policies and Procedures Manual. These are informational to provide employment information, procedures, and outlines professional responsibilities and resources.

All full-time faculty members have a representative on the Faculty Senate. The Faculty Senate represents faculty by division. If you have an issue you would like to bring forward, please contact one of your representatives. Any senator can place an item of discussion, or a motion, on the Senate's next agenda. To find your Senate representatives or to see recent minutes, please visit the Senate's site at https://my.sbu.edu/senate.

Graduate faculty members are also represented by the Graduate Council. Current Graduate Council members are listed at the top of each meeting agenda.
